Andy Murray will begin his Wimbledon campaign against fellow Brit Ryan Peniston following the draw for the first round of the 136th instalment of the famous Grand Slam on Friday morning.
In the opening match on centre court, defending champion Novak Djokovic will kick off his bid for an eighth Wimbledon title against Pedro Cachin. Meanwhile, last year's beaten finalist Nick Kyrgios gets David Goffin in the first round which promises to be an exciting spectacle.
World number one and top seed Carlos Alcaraz starts against Jeremy Chardy.
A battle between Dominic Thiem and Stefano Tsitsipas is also one of the highlights of the opening round, and the winner will face either Murray or Peniston in round two.
Britain’s Dan Evans will take on France's Quentin Halys, while his compatriot Liam Broady will face Constant Lestienne. Cameron Norrie has been drawn against Czech qualifier Tomas Machac.
In the womens’ draw, world number one Iga Swiatek will face China’s Zhu Lin - a favourable match-up for the Polish top seed with most of her closest rivals appearing on the other half of the draw.
Reigning champion Elena Rybakina begins her title defence against America’s Shelby Rogers, and last year’s beaten finalist, Ons Jabeur, takes on the in-form Magdalena Frech.
With regards to the British hopefuls, Katie Swan has a tough task against Belinda Bencic in the first round, while Jodie Burrage faces Caty McNally and Harriet Dart takes on Diane Parry. Nottingham Open winner Katie Boulter will meet Daria Saville, while former British no1 Heather Watson has been matched with Barbora Krejcikova.
In the best tie of the first round, Venus Williams, back at Wimbledon at the age of 43, plays 2019 semi-finalist Elina Svitolina in a thrilling battle between two wildcards. Elsewhere, Coco Gauff has been drawn against Sofia Kenin.
Round one gets underway on Monday at the All England Club.
